Continue your birdwatching adventure within the upper limits of warm broadleaf forests around Samdrup Jongkhar. Embark on a scenic two-hour drive from Samdrup Jongkhar to Morong, enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way. Spend the entire day engaged in bird watching activities in the Morong and Narphung area. Day 16- Gedu-Thimphu back to Paro

As the first light of day breaks, our focus will be on spotting some of Bhutan's most captivating bird species. Keep your eyes peeled for the stunning Blood Pheasants and Satyr Tragopan, along with other Himalayan gems like the majestic Himalayan Monal, vibrant Kalij Pheasant, the charming White-browed Rosefinch, and the melodious Greenish Warbler. The road to Chelela is not just a route; it's a birdwatcher's paradise. After an exciting morning of birding, we'll return to our hotel for a well-deserved lunch. Day 18- Hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest.
After breakfast, 2 and half hour drive to the base camp, the starting point for the hike to Taktsang Monastery. The day hike to Taktsang Monastery takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Taktsang Monastery is perched on the side of a cliff, 900m above the floor of the Paro valley. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche, who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan in the eighth century, flew to a cave in the Taktsang area on a tigress and meditated for three months. The monastery is a revered and iconic symbol of Bhutanese Buddhism and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After completing the hike to Taktsang Monastery, return to Paro town for lunch. After returning to the hotel, take a break with a refreshing tea or coffee. Visit the town for some last-minute shopping, allowing you to explore local markets and pick up souvenirs. Conclude your day with dinner served in the hotel, providing a relaxing end to your exploration of Paro.
Day 19- Departure
Check out from your accommodation in Paro in the morning. Your representative from Wildwing Adventure will pick you up from the accommodation. Head to the airport for your departure. Arrive at the airport and your Wildwing Adventure representative will assist with the check-in process.Bid farewell to Bhutan and your guide. Board your flight and depart from Paro.
